Corvair
Well,
the engine for my KR2S has to be the Corvair. For all sorts
of reasons and then just because that's what I want

This
is where a Corvair engine originates.........In the rear end of a car.
I purchased this one from my SAAA chapter president who imported two
from the US. Mine is going in the KR2S and his in a Zenair
601.
The block and head serial numbers are the ones we like.
I
even found another set of heads here in Australia.

The
engine stand is a must in my situation. The engine
is hung
vertically so that it can be rolled down the side of the work bench for
storage. It has to come out of the garage every time I work
on
the KR, which is daily. |
